Job Summary:
The Beverage Supervisor at Cascade Hotel will oversee beverage operations across hotel bars and banquet events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, team leadership, and adherence to quality and financial standards. This role requires both supervisory responsibilities and the ability to step in and fill critical bartending roles weekly. The Beverage Supervisor will support the Director of Beverage in staff training, inventory control, and maintaining high service standards in alignment with hotel brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and support beverage service across bars and banquet operations.
· Assist in staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
· Manage scheduling for event bartenders and beverage service staff to ensure proper coverage for hotel functions, private events, and peak service times.
· Work closely with the Banquet Manager to ensure the beverage program at events runs smoothly and adheres to Marriott brand standards.
· Maintain beverage inventory, cost controls, and vendor relations.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
· Oversee cocktail, wine, and spirits programs, assisting with menu development.
· Step into bartending roles as needed during peak times or staffing shortages.
· Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery when needed.
· Assist in executing beverage-related events, promotions, and training programs.
· Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of experience in a supervisory beverage or hospitality role.
· Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixology.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and cost control strategies.
· Hands-on bartending experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
