You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and organized while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast station, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills promptly.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing information about menu items and accommodating special requests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while following proper cash handling procedures.
- Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations, including proper storage temperatures and cleanliness standards.
- Perform meal preparation tasks as needed, including cutting meats and preparing sides or condiments.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
- Restock food items as necessary throughout the breakfast service to ensure availability for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Experience in meal preparation or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for guest interactions.
