Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as effective communication is key in providing exceptional guest services.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests with reservations or requests.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while ensuring all guest areas are inviting and well-kept.
  • Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary to management.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a front desk role within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software is an advantage; familiarity with night audit procedures is beneficial.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
