Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Green Bay North, WI (2308 Lineville Rd, Green Bay, WI 54313) is currently seeking to hire multiple candidates for Front Desk Agents to fill in both full-time and part-time Positions (including contract to hire) for Day and Evening shifts hours are (7-3,3-11). This role at our front desk consists of working one-on-one with hotel guests and clients to ensure their stay meets their expectations with utmost guest satisfaction. This position requires someone with flexibility to work various shifts, weekdays, weekends, and demonstrate a positive, helpful and guest-friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out using Computer Reservation System in a cheerful, friendly manner.
- Handle all guest compliments, comments, observations and challenges in a timely, professional manner to effectively achieve full guest satisfaction.
- Be a team player and collaborate with other departments (Laundry, Housekeeping, Maintenance) as appropriate to arrange for services requested by the guest. Be organized in recording housekeeping logs, maintenance issues and resolutions to guest complaints in the computer system and daily log books as needed.
- Encourage day to day up-selling of guest accommodations and promotes hotel amenities, food & beverage outlets, hotel services and brand loyalty program.
- Process customer payments at check-in in accordance with hotel policy and data privacy policy standards. Maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements, brand standards, and hotel operating policies.
- Operate telephone switchboard professionally and efficiently, receives and transfers calls, takes guest messages thoroughly and accurately, and notifies guests of messages.
- When working night shift, complete the Night-Audit process in a timely manner every night. This consists of checking over everyone else's financial accounting for the day in addition to checking for declined credit cards, charging no-show fees, closing the credit card batch, etc.
- Prepare end-of-shift summaries and communications for management and smooth handoff to other shifts.
- Perform Other duties as and when assigned by the hotel management to provide superior guest experience.
- Maintains a clean and organized lobby and front desk area. Duties include sweeping and mopping the lobby, front desk, breakfast room, office and public area every night.
- Set up the breakfast room according to guidelines by 6 AM and helps maintain breakfast area with fresh coffee, tea, and breakfast items. Helps keep the area stocked, clean, and organized.
Experience & Skills:
- At least 2 years of work experience as Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated competence in use of the computer systems. All system trainings will be provided as needed.
- Demonstrated customer service behaviors, such as integrity, listening, initiative, responsiveness, cheerfulness, accommodation, courtesy, honesty, and professionalism. Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.
- Good to have an understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Google, Expedia, Booking and TripAdvisor
