We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance department and ensure the efficient operation of all facility systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building maintenance, including knowledge in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance management practices.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in building maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques using tools like ohmmeters.
- Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear instructions are provided to the team.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support facility operations.
