Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to maintain guest comfort.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning as required.
- Restock housekeeping supplies in carts and storage areas to ensure efficiency during shifts.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or industrial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping practices and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest interaction.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is an advantage.
