Center based Infant Teacher

We are currently looking for a caring and energetic full-time or part-time Group Leader or Teachers assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for working with children, are dedicated to providing the best education and care to your students, work collaboratively, and want to learn and grow, we want you to be a part of our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for children to develop their fullest potential energy of their learning objectives.
• create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
• Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate collaboratively in professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective individual interest of its staff and student body.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• React quickly in order to reduce danger or harm
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to constantly bend, reach, Scooch, and stand throughout shift
• Must be able to sit in actively participate in learning at children’s level

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Currently in early childhood education class or willing to complete 18 to 30 hours of training each year
• Complies with all state education and licensing standards, and maintains validation of credentials for the position.
• A minimum six months verifiable experience in a licensed childcare or early childhood center.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand

• Required to put away cell phones Apple watches or similar items while working so that all of your focus is on the children
