What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Country Lane Park Condo Association?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
- Fabricate and weld metal components as needed for repairs or modifications (preferred).
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with On-Site Manager to ensure efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical systems
- Proficiency in plumbing systems
- Proficiency in drywall repairs / carpentry
- Ability to fabricate and weld metal components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
- Must be self-starter and be able to work unsupervised. Must be able to determine thier own schedule.
- Organized and willing to take this complex to a new level of standards.
