Front Desk Receptionist/Greeter
Early evening hours (4:30pm - 8:00pm) w/ every other weekend (10:00am - 6:30pm), every other holiday. 2-3 evenings per week.
As a Receptionist at Country Manor, you'll help us succeed by ensuring the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for Country Manor. As such, we are searching for a positive and outgoing individual, with excellent communication and organization skills!
Responsibilities:
- Greet, assist and direct visitors and residents appropriately
- Screen and direct all incoming calls.
- Communicate effectively and professionally on the telephone and in person.
- Answer all inquiries according to the facility’s policies and procedures.
- Communicate and work cooperatively with all facility employees/departments.
- Sort mail daily.
- Operate computer, telephone system and other office equipment.
- Handle transactions and deposits - maintain, balance, distribute and report funds.
- Type and copy forms and correspondence for various departments as assigned.
- Maintain necessary filing systems.
- Maintain sign-in sheets.
- Monitor front door and screening table/kiosk
- Maintain schedules for Conference Room and Family Room.
- Inventory and order office supplies.
- Prepare new employee files.
- Keep the procedure manuals current.
- Maintain telephone number list.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience or educational background as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or other similar role
- Proficiency with clerical skills (typing, filing, etc.) and basic bookkeeping skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Experience in medical terminology preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service skills including the ability to display great deal of patience, consideration and tact when dealing with residents, families and visitors.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Experience working with geriatric population preferred.
- Professional appearance
- Must be able to report to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
- Must confidentially maintain resident information.
- Good physical and mental health.
