Primary Purpose
The Sales Performance Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing sales data, optimizing processes, and providing strategic insights to enhance the performance of the outside sales team. This position will support decision-making by identifying trends, evaluating sales effectiveness, and recommending improvements to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide actionable insights for sales leadership.
- Evaluate sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to improve forecasting, territory management, and sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to assess competitive positioning and customer needs.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor and report on sales team adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in designing and implementing incentive programs to drive performance.
- Support training and coaching initiatives by identifying skill gaps and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Partner with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate sales tracking and reporting.
