- Ensure seamless operations within the farrowing barn, encompassing employee management, sow and piglet care, and environmental monitoring.
- Collaborate with the Sow Barn Manager to implement effective strategies for animal welfare and efficiency.
- Develop and execute plans for vaccination and treatment programs, prioritizing animal health and bio-security.
- Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement, driving process enhancements and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the farrowing team.
