What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipeline Maintenance Supervisor position at Countrymark Refining and Logistics?
Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the pipeline maintenance crew and ensuring employee safety while overseeing routine and unscheduled maintenance activities for the Logistics Department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
* Lead, coach, and mentor Pipeline Welders, Pipeline Equipment Operator, and Pipeliners. Oversee the daily work of assigned crew.
* Communicate and promote employee safety.
* Report daily progress and planning to Supervisor.
* Work with Supervisor to develop a weekly work schedule.
* Adhere to weekly maintenance schedules and allocate as per forecasted workloads.
* Identify and propose ideas and solutions to help increase efficiency, quality and/or reduce production cost and downtime.
* Establish and maintain working relationships with other Logistics Pipeline Maintenance Crew, One Call, Corrosion, and Garage.
* Review employee expense reports and manage employee man hours.
* Assure vendor stocks are sufficient for work pending.
* Complete monthly project reports in a timely manner.
* Complete assigned PSM audits and inspections.
* Ensure API welding standards are being adhered to and document pipeline welding reports.
* Ensure that employees are trained and qualified in all aspects of their job and that all Regulations, Policies, and Procedures are understood and followed.
* Coordinate and leads emergency response activities including containment, repair, and clean up.
Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):
High School diploma is required. A technical degree in a related field is preferred. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in Construction or Pipeline field.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Employee must have valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle or their own vehicle for work purposes.Class A CDL preferred.
