What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Animal Veterinary Assistant/Technician position at Countryside Veterinary Services?
Countryside Veterinary Services is currently seeking an Small Animal Veterinary Technician/Assistant. We are a multi-doctor clinic that strives to provide the best service and care for our patients. We are seeking an individual that is hardworking, driven, and great at communication. We provide hands-on training to teach new employees how our doctors would like patients assessed/treated. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Assisting veterinarians/coworkers
-Excellent client communication
-Obtaining detailed patient history
-Physical Exam
-Venipuncture
-IV catheter placement
-Radiographs
-Anesthesia Monitoring
-Running/sending off lab work
-Giving/refilling medications
-Treatments of hospitalized patients
