Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and more.
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with medical documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Support individuals and provide personalized care
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Note: At Countrywide Home Care, we offer a comprehensive online certification program that spans 72 hours, consisting of 60 hours of engaging online coursework and 12 hours of hands-on clinical training, all thoughtfully designed to be completed within just two weeks, empowering individuals to become certified home health aides
