The Director of Dental Hygiene is responsible for the oversight and administration of the Dental Hygiene Program, ensuring excellence in CCM’s comprehensive Dental Hygiene education program. This shall include matters such as: student management, faculty management, curriculum design and delivery and instruction, clinical partnership management, accreditation management, program expansions, promotion of CCM’s Associate Degree Dental Hygiene Program, program leadership and support, program compliance, budget and facilities responsibilities.
Record of leadership, ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively, experience in course delivery in a variety of formats, detail oriented and organized, knowledge of Microsoft and Outlook software or similar packages, able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and sensitivity in handling confidential information.
Teaching experience in Associate or Baccalaureate Dental Hygiene Degree Program.
Administrative experience in academic setting.
Professional experience as a hygienist.
Participation and service in professional and/or community organizations.
Working knowledge of all courses and programs of study offered by the department.
A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Relevant discipline: doctoral degree preferred.
New Jersey Licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist required.
