Dental Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is an executive position responsible for overseeing the operations of an organization.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. This position works closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to ensure efficient and effective operations across multiple dental practices within the DSO. This role will involve establishing and maintaining operational standards, optimizing workflow processes, and driving operational excellence. You will also be responsible for promoting a culture of high-quality patient care, team collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

The specific requirements and responsibilities may vary depending on needs and organizational scaling. This position will require travel amongst our NJ offices with occasional travel to our NY headquarters for specified Operations meetings.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (a master's degree is preferred)
• Extensive experience (5 years) in dental practice management or operations, preferably within a DSO but at minimum with multi-location dental setting.
• Strong knowledge of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, billing, and insurance processes.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data.
• Familiarity with dental industry regulations and compliance requirements.
