: Federal Programs/Curriculum Coordinator
Location: County Line School District, Branch, Arkansas
Position Type: Full-Time, 210 day contract
Job Summary:
County Line School District is seeking a dynamic and organized Federal Programs/Curriculum Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective implementation of federal programs and the development and alignment of the school’s curriculum. This position requires a detail-oriented, solutions-driven professional who is dedicated to supporting both students and educators. The Federal Programs/Curriculum Coordinator will work closely with the school leadership team, teachers, and other stakeholders to enhance educational outcomes and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Federal Programs Management:
•Oversee the administration and compliance of federal and state programs, including State Categorical Funds, Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, Medicaid, ARMAC and any other relevant federal funding sources.
•Develop and monitor the school’s Title I plans, ensuring alignment with district and state requirements.
•Maintain records, reports, and documentation required for federal and state programs.
•Provide training and guidance to staff on the use of federal funds and the implementation of federal programs.
•Coordinate the preparation of program reports and grants to secure funding.
•Ensure compliance with federal and state education policies and guidelines.
Curriculum Development and Alignment:
•Work with the principal and teachers to develop, implement, and evaluate the school’s curriculum.
•Assist with aligning the curriculum with state and national standards to ensure high academic achievement for all students.
•Review instructional materials, teaching strategies, and assessments to ensure they meet the needs of diverse learners.
•Collaborate with teachers to integrate federal and state program supports, such as supplemental tutoring, into the overall curriculum.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
•Analyze student performance data to assess the effectiveness of federal programs and curriculum.
•Assist in identifying student needs and provide recommendations for program improvements based on data findings.
•Regularly report on the progress of federal programs and student outcomes to the principal, school board, and other stakeholders.
Professional Development:
•Plan and facilitate professional development opportunities related to federal programs, curriculum development, and instructional strategies.
•Provide ongoing support and coaching to teachers to ensure successful program and curriculum implementation.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in education, with a strong preference for experience in federal programs and curriculum development.
•Strong understanding of federal education laws, grant writing, and compliance requirements.
•Proven experience in curriculum design, instructional practices, and data analysis.
•Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
•Knowledge of Arkansas state education standards and assessment practices.
