What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Veterinary Technician position at County Line Veterinary Hospital?
We are currently seeking a full-time veterinary technician for our ever growing and expanding veterinary hospital located in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. Our newest, state-of-the art 6,000 square foot facility has just opened, and we are seeking individuals that display confidence in their technical skills and are comfortable in an extremely busy environment. Surgery and anesthesia monitoring a definite plus! This is a non-stop, busy practice! Our owner/doctor has been recognized as one of the top veterinarians in the area numerous times! Prefer a licensed technician or a minimum of 2 years in a busy practice.

What You’ll Be Working On
- Assist veterinarians with exams, vaccinations, treatments, surgery, dentistry, and animal restraint
- Administer anesthetics or sedatives under the direction of a veterinarian
- Surgical prep, pre- and post-op care, venipuncture, and IV catheter placement
- Taking radiographic images and performing sample collections, including cystocentesis
- Microscope slide preparation and reading for cytology, blood smears
- Obtain and document patient medical information
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care - verbal and written.
