BASIC FUNCTIONS:
- Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, provides ground keeping duties as requested, and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs grounds keeping at Chub Lake Park, the Transfer Station, the Carlton, Cloquet & Transportation Building campuses and at any other County administered properties as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Performs relief custodian duties.
- Assists maintenance staff with special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Must be of minimum working age and possess a valid drivers license.
Certificates/Licenses Required:
- Valid drivers license.
Note:
- Must successfully pass a background check; medical, physical and drug screening.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Required at Entry:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
