The Resident Services Technician will assist residents with all non-care-related needs and services.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, push items, talk or hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally, the employee will need to sit, reach above shoulders, bend at the waist or work bent at the waist; kneel, stoop, crouch or squat; and drive a vehicle. On rare occasions, the employee will need to reach or work with arms above shoulder height; twist or rotate at the waist; lift and carry items, and work with an uncommon level of noise,

Work Environment:
- One-on-one socialization with residents on and off units.
- Hold discussion groups, using various materials to promote interaction, communication and reminiscence (independent of therapist).
- Gather materials relevant to group type.
- Observe residents and report anything unusual or different in a resident’s behavior and/or appearance.
- Assist residents on outside bus trips to embark, debark and transport at destination.
- Shop for residents, feed meals to residents, and transport residents on and off units.
- Pass out fluids, snacks and nutritional supplements at designated times.
- Put away laundered clothing, make beds, and perform other light cleaning duties,
- Fill water pitchers.
- Work hours are from 11 am to 7 pm.
- Required to work every other weekend.
- Perform other duties, tasks and special projects, as required.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Accurate and detail oriented with good communication skills.
