Job Title
NETWORK ANALYST
Summary
The NETWORK ANALYST will provide project management for helpdesk issues, service request, and projects as assigned. They will establish, plan, and coordinate work efforts. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the TCP/IP model, IP protocols, and IP subnetting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to project team members.
- Handle complex application features and technical designs.
- Assist with designing and implementing the components required for complex network project designs.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of the network infrastructure including wireless, routing, and routing protocols, NAT, QoS, ACL, firewalls, remote access and VOIP.
- Install, configure, and maintain organization's network.
- Review, plan, and evaluate network systems.
- Suggest repairs and provide end user support for all LAN-based applications.
- Troubleshoot network systems and recommend improvements to the network.
- Provide documentation / project tracking and management reporting.
- Analyze network security and recommend, develop, and deploy security measures to protect information against unauthorized intrusion, modification, or loss.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in network administration and a minimum of five years of experience or a combination of education and experience.
- CCNA certification a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the TCP/IP model, IP protocols, and IP subnetting.
- Knowledge of routing & routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VRRP).
- Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, VPN, ASA, IDS/IPS, DMVPN.
- Knowledge and experience configuring wireless and wireless controllers.
- Project management skills, multitasking ability, good communication skills (verbal & written), ability to delegate tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem track for network related issues.
- Proficient knowledge in Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Windows (all versions), and other software and utilities used to track, maintain, and monitor network and server systems.
- Current valid driver's license and good driving record required.
