Responsibilities include:- Assists with application process of homestead and non-homestead applications
- Inputs transfer declarations for Illinois Department of Revenue sales ratio studies
- Inputs Board of Review and Property Tax Appeal Board actions and other Board of Review actions
- Assists taxpayers/appellants with application/appeal process
- Clarifies homestead, non-homestead, appeals and transfer declarations to taxpayers/appellants
- Answers phones, works at the front desk assisting taxpayer/appellants
- Receives, sorts, distributes, and reviews mail independently
- Completion of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- Two (2) years of clerical and/or administrative support experience in the assessment/tax field or real estate practices
