We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Wastewater Operator Intern within the DuPage County Public Works Department. This position is eligible for Paid Leave hours at a proportional rate based on the number of hours regularly scheduled to work. - Draws samples of water for laboratory tests and analyses
- Cleaning of machinery, equipment, and pumps
- Observe and assist with addition of chemicals according to prescribed standards
- Reads gauges and transmits data to superior
- Observe and assist with routine chemical analyses of water
- Observe and assist operators with plant rounds
- Observe and assist with operation of plant equipment
