GOLF ASSISTANT MANAGER – ASST GOLF PRO
SEASONAL LONG TERM
The Kenosha County Division of Golf is looking for Assistant Golf Professionals to work between our two golf courses, Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs. These are supervisory, long-term seasonal positions responsible for growing the game of golf and ensuring procedures are being followed.
Kenosha County Golf has 63 holes and two facilities which are Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs Golf Course. Abundant trees and rolling landscape add beauty and challenge to these courses. Kenosha County Golf offers exceptional golf experiences at affordable rates. The facilities boast some of the best equipment around, always trying to take advantage of new technology and innovations.

2025 Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
WORK SCHEDULE
Work hours typically range from dawn to dusk (5:30 AM to 9:00 PM depending on the season)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with contacts to make sure outings and group events are in order
Networks with local companies to create more business for future events
Supervises employees and conducts small meetings to make sure tasks are being done correctly
Refers to time tracking system to ensure employees are arriving on time and being paid correctly
Ensures the other systems are working correctly, including Point of Sale and the course websites
Works with customers who may have concerns or complaints
Conducts lessons and clinics and properly promotes them so they can have as many participants as possible
Works in the pro shop running the register and checking in guests
Performs other duties as required or assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years old at time of application
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Two-year degree or field-related experience
At least three years of experience in the golf industry
One year of work experience in a supervisory role preferred
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid driver’s license at time of hire and maintain during incumbency, with acceptable driving record
PGA Apprentice preferred

Knowledge of local businesses and a general understanding of their needs
Knowledge of game of golf and proper golf etiquette
Skill in effective communication and salesmanship
Skill in basic usage of Microsoft Office
Ability to display empathy and gain the trust of the customer by following through with your word
Ability to problem-solve and multi-task
Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times
Ability to work respectfully in a diverse and inclusive environment
