The Nursing Office Manager works independently to maintain daily nursing staff numbers and ratios at an acceptable level, as well as performing a variety of functions dealing with personnel changes. This employee must have the ability to partner and collaborate with supervisors on scheduling needs and communicate effectively and timely.

2025 Hiring Range: $27.00 - $30.68 per hour
Work Schedule
Work hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Full time, 40 hours per week
Position Summary and Job Duties
Prepares, organizes and implements monthly work schedules for nursing, including changes and daily replacements
Approves and tracks PTO requests and leaves of absence for all nursing staff
Processes new hires, position changes, resignations, etc. in Dayforce or other platform
Maintains communication with Pool staff and verifies requirements are being met
Serves as backup for payroll as necessary
Answers employee questions or refers them to others as needed
Success Factors
Knowledge of nursing department routine, staffing ratios, and facility layout
Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work efficiently
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with nursing staff
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to have patience and maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
Ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, and patience in dealing with a myriad of personnel situations on a day-to-day basis
Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times
Knowledge of OnShift preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personnel records, etc.
Ability to work respectfully in a diverse and inclusive environment
Job Requirements, Education, Training and Experience
High school graduate with up to one year of post high school courses in college, technical, or business school
Any combination of education, training and experience in a related field, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job
Experience with large-scale scheduling in a 24/7 multishift environment preferred
