What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extra Help Mail Clerk position at County of Lake?
Under direct supervision, prepares and processes mail in the County’s centralized mail facility; collects, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; processes outgoing mail, including UPS and special shipments; assists in delivering paper and supplies to County offices; assists in the collection and inventory of surplus items; performs general office support duties; and performs related duties as assigned.
Licensing and Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid California Driver’s License.
Education and Experience:
One (1) year of full-time administrative, office, and general support work experience.
Experience with mailroom operations and familiarity with mailroom equipment is preferred.
Additional directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.
