Under general supervision, provides basic departmental support by gathering program and statistical data. Offers program analysis and technical assistance related to eligibility, employment, and staff issues. Reviews legislation, laws, and regulations to evaluate their impact on departmental services and operations. Additionally, coordinates the development or contracting of staff training as needed, and performs other related duties as required.SUPPLEMENTAL TESTING DISCLOSURESupplemental Questions Testing will be used to identify applicants whose backgrounds align most closely with the department’s requirements. The supplemental questions for this recruitment center around finance and accounting. STAFF SERVICES ANALYST ILicensing and Certifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid California Driver’s License.Education and Experience: Pattern 1: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. (Supervisor experience or experience providing program management recommendations may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis). ORPattern 2: One (1) year of experience in a position requiring analysis, interpretation and/or implementation of complex rules and regulations. STAFF SERVICES ANALYST IILicensing and Certifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid California Driver’s License.Education and Experience: Pattern 1: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
