Job Description:
The Clerk of Court's Office is seeking a Docketing Clerk for the Family Court division. You will be responsible for scheduling hearings for separations, divorces, motions, protection orders, child support cases, SCDSS rules, emergency hearings, juvenile court hearings and clerk rules using the PACCS system. You will work with judges, attorneys and guardian ad litems to coordinate dates for hearings and prepare hearing notices when needed. You will also be responsible for processing orders and rule to show causes as well as preparing the docket for publishing, assisting attorneys, the public, paralegals and judges.
Additional Job Requirements:
Requires exceptional time management and ability to deal with frequent interruptions. Must be able to interact with judges and attorneys in a professional manner. Other duties as assigned.
Equivalent Education, Training and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by 2-5 years of office/clerical experience.
Preferred Experience:
Paralegal background or working knowledge of court processes.

Pay: $36,691.20 per hour
