Job Description:
Under limited supervision performs case preparation and prosecuting duties for the Solicitor's Office in Family Court to include managing a substantial caseload and resolving cases as deemed appropriate to include conducting trials. Work closely with DJJ, school representatives, DSS, DHM, and other necessary parties in the adjudication of juvenile cases. Performs other similar duties as required.
Additional Job Requirements:
Must possess and maintain membership in the South Carolina Bar Association. Must have completed all Rule 403 requirements. Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in criminal law, particularly prior experience in prosecuting criminal cases in General Sessions Court or Family Court.
Equivalent Education, Training and Experience:
Requires a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school supplemented by one or more years of experience in the field of law.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,929.74 - $72,284.12 per year
