Job Description:
Assists the Director of SWM in the operation, supervision and management of the County's Solid Waste Management program. Develops plans, provides technical assistance, prepares and reviews budgets and financial documents, administers contract and makes public presentations. Assists in the preparation and review of environmental reports. Interacts with engineering consultants and local, state and federal agencies.
Additional Job Requirements:
Ability to develop and administer safety/training program, ability to interact and communicate with County leadership/agencies and the citizens of the County of Lexington.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in the Management of Solid Waste field operations, program implementation and personnel supervision. Expert skill as a presenter and the use of computer programs, powerpoint, work and excel.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 3 years of experience in environmental engineering and/or management; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience in solid waste management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $82,685.00 - $90,707.00 per year
