What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney position at County of Monmouth?
Represent agency in child support and paternity actions in Family Court Hearing, Officer Calendars, and before Family Court Judges. Back-up representation in Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA) cases.
-Provide legal advise and representation to Child Support Unit (CSP).
-Supervision of welfare caseload and responsible for legal advice regarding all welfare cases.
-Prepare motions relating to more complex aspects of child support and paternity for CSP unit.
-Update forms for complaints and motions in welfare case as needed.
-Develop court preparation training manual for child support staff.
-Prepare court/fair hearings and legal briefs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Juris Doctor Degree
Certificate of Good Standing from the New Jersey Board of Bar Examiners
