What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weights & Measures Apprentice position at County of Monmouth?
Monmouth County Division of Weights & Measures is looking to fill a full-time, Weights & Measures Apprentice position.
Work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The candidate:
General laptop and computer knowledge is needed to complete fieldwork daily.
Please be advised, all Monmouth County positions are on site. There are no provisions to work remotely.

- will be required to possess a drivers license valid in NJ and in good standing.
- will be required to successfully complete the Weights & Measures training program conducted the State Office of Weights & Measures.
- will be required to learn to inspect and test all types of weighing and measuring devices
- will be required to organize fieldwork, analyze Weights & Measures enforcement activities, and develop work methods.
