General Summary:
Visitor Services Specialists serve an important role as they will be the first (and perhaps only) contact that guests have with museum staff over the course of their visit. Visitor Services Specialists serve in a frontline capacity at all sites managed by the Monroe County Museum System for the County of Monroe.
Employment Qualifications:
Education: An ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience providing customer service in a retail setting. Previous cash handling experience.
Schedule: Maximum number of hours per week is 28. Minimum number of hours per week is 24. Employees in this position are required to regularly work one weekend day per work week. Typical work schedules are Wednesdays through Saturdays, 9 am to 5 pm. Will be needed for evening special events about once a month.
