Montgomery County is seeking a registered nurse to join our dynamic public health nursing team. Public Health Nursing is a specialty that allows the registered nurse to function at the top of their licensure and use their nursing judgement and skills to promote and protect the health of the county population. This position will serve as the program manager for our reproductive health program and participate in the delivery of a broad scope of public health services that may include but not be limited to services for mothers and children, expectant mothers, women’s health, communicable disease control, immunizations, care management and sick acute and chronic care. Credentialing and training will be provided to assist the nurse in becoming proficient and competent in public health knowledge and practice.
