Votran is Hiring a Full Time Accounting Specialist
This position supports the daily operations of the payroll function, performs functions related to input of payroll information into the payroll software system, and will be responsible for accuracy of bi-weekly payroll records, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and yearly reports. This position will handle other financial and accounting work and / or reports. This position reports directly to the Payroll Manager
- Bi-Weekly Payroll Processing
- Performs assigned routines in Money Room
- Assists with other finance / accounting functions.
Must be able to lift or move up to fifty pounds. Physical activity includes lifting
and holding fare boxes and coin bags. Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Minimum Requirements
High School / Associates Degree
Three Years’ Experience with payroll and / or accounting responsibilities.
A comparable amount of education, training, and / or experience maybe be substituted for minimum requirements.
Criminal Background and Driver’s license checks are performed.
