Job Summary
Responsible for providing ‘front line’ evaluation, inquiry and input of fiscal and location information received on Domestic Relations Section clientele and general clerical support for all functions of the unit. Responsible to provide exceptional customer service to the public, other County/Court departments, attorney’s, employers, and co-workers. All duties must comply with State law and rule, the requirement of PACES (Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System) and York County Domestic Relations procedure.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming fiscal/locate inquiries received by telephone, in person, or in writing from clients, employers, co-workers or outside agencies
- Process all incoming locate mail on PACSES
- Work PACSES Locate MAIL alerts (67T82 report)
- File Fiscal/Locate paperwork in the case file in a timely manner
- Complete, pend, and monitor all request for locate efforts on PACSES clients
- Perform member clearance on all incoming checks for forwarding to SCDU, as needed
- Preparation of mail (by Priority Mail) to be forwarded to SCDU
- Handle over-the-counter support payments in accordance with established procedures
- Process all Financial Referrals in accordance with established procedures
- Process all incoming Financial Memos
- Prepare York County Children and Youth, Blood Test, Transportation and Collection Fee checks for forwarding to the County Treasurer’s office
- Prepare to make cash deposits to appropriate DRS accounts at local bank when required
- Make appropriate contacts when representatives from SCDU/PACSES when inquiries or problems require each action
- Work all financial ‘Hold’ reports
- Process cases through the ‘close’ procedure
- Forward all modification request to the Intake Unit for processing
- Perform back-up for duties of mail unit worker as needed
- Prepare and verify Plaintiff Electronic Funds Transfer requests
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clientele
- Complete monthly file management assignments
- Maintain and submit required monthly statistical reports on work activity
- Carry out required Case File Maintenance System tasks to ensure ease of file location for all office workers
- Demonstrate proficiency with general, duty-specific and duty-related portions of the PACSES system
- Comply with all computer and office security, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements
- Attend periodic training about PACSES, the support system or other relevant topics to enhance work performance

Essential Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must posses a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with operation, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting of office equipment such as: personal computers, typewriters, laser printers, copy and fax machines, multi-line telephones, etc.
- Ability to set up and type correspondence, forms, tables, schedules, etc., using a personal computer word processing program and/or typewriter as necessary
- Whether in person or by telephone, required to interact with the public, other departments, offices, and co-workers in a congenial, efficient and responsible manner
- Must possess excellent time management skills
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Must have the ability to think through, reason, and utilize common sense in working with diverse individuals.
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, etc., either manually or by using a calculator
- Must adhere to Court and/or County policies and procedures
