Executive Administrative Assistant
The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Executive Director. The role involves coordinating resources and serving as a liaison to resolve member issues and implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and implements strategic communication plans to effectively achieve communication objectives.
- Collaborates and participates to ensure successful Board Meetings, CRL Pool Board Governance Conferences, Member Board Meetings, and Committee Meetings.
- Organizes member events, webinars and meetings to educate, and enhance member engagement and member satisfaction.
- Develops and implements member retention strategies to ensure high service standards, monitors the results of the strategies and ensures ongoing success.
- Facilitates in member escalations, inquiries, and coordination of services and vendors.
- Creates, oversees, and schedules the onboarding process of new members and/or their staff members.
- Contributes to the creation of teaching materials, handouts, news releases, pamphlets, and brochures.
Administrative Duties:
- Leads the development of the annual reports.
- Drafts board and committee meeting minutes.
- Maintains the CRL annual calendar of activities including board agenda topics.
- Adheres to internal polices and supports the organization in achieving goals.
- Assists with general office administration as required.
Collaboration and Marketing:
- Partners with vendors in development of programs and resources that reflect the needs of members and CRL.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams, including members, claim managers, underwriting, legal, actuarial, and finance.
- Fosters strong relationships with external stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Travel 20% or as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Property and Casualty license, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting license, Associate in Reinsurance preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of property/casualty reinsurance and/or property/casualty insurance experience Preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in web design and content production;
- Experience in copywriting and editing.
- Analytical and interpretive skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Proficiency in working effectively in a team environment, when working independently and when working offsite or remotely.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office and other system products.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
