Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller

Job Description: The role performs a variety of accounting tasks regarding accounts receivable, accounts payable, job costing, inventory, payroll and month end financial statements.

Company Overview: We are a 48-year-old commercial printer. Our annual revenue is $20mil, we specialize in manufacturing high quality, high volume, catalogs, magazines, brochures, and marketing collateral for a variety of industries.

Team Overview: You will work directly under CFO, with the help of an assistant. This is a full-time position, we work onsite, no remote available. We hold reviews quarterly for the first year, then bi-annually. We are a fast-paced, lean organization where everyone pulls their own weight. We are focused on technology, automation and streamlining all aspects of our business. 

Who we are looking for: We want someone with strong accounting skills that can handle the typical accounting roles, AR, AP, etc., but also grow into a redundancy or backup for our CFO role. 

Requirements:

·        Dynamics 365 Business Central experience a plus. 

·        Must have extensive experience in accounting, full bookkeeper experience.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

·        Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered

·        Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data

·        Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines

·        Strong organization, oral and written communication skills

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines

·        Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting software and general ledgers

·        Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
