What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class Action Paralegal position at Course?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class Action Paralegal to join our team. As a Class Action Paralegal, you will play a critical role in our legal practice, providing comprehensive support in class action lawsuits. We are looking for someone with substantial experience in class action litigation to ensure the successful execution of our cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist with case preparation.
- Review and analyze complex documents and evidence related to class action claims.
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and co-counsel to maintain efficient case flow.
- Prepare and file court documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Assist in trial preparation and courtroom support when necessary.
- Stay current with changes in class action laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Class Action Paralegal, or large litigation experience.
- Strong knowledge of class action procedures, rules, and legal research.
- Proficiency in legal research tools, databases, and e-discovery software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team.
