The Finance Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the organizations financial operations, including project accounting and profitability, financial performance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role involves working closely with business units to ensure financial data integrity, optimization of operational processes, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and support assigned business areas in interpreting
- Ensure accurate project set-up across ERP system
- Analyze financial data related to projects including costs and profitability
- Ensure the completion and accuracy of accounting and financial processing such as month-end revenue and contract balances
- Develop revenue recognition and cost of sales forecasts and budgets and track performance
- Analyze and interpret backlog and pipeline compared to existing and projected capacity
- Produce financial data for monthly and ad hoc reporting
- Provide data to support project health checks such as project profitability and overrun analyses
- Develop and provide data support commercial and technical teams with project cancellations (% completion, time spent, amounts invoiced and paid)
