We are seeking an experienced Superintendent of Power and Recovery to lead our operations within the pulp and paper industry. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our power and recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership & Development : Manage and actively develop teams, setting performance expectations and assisting in meeting departmental goals

Reliability & Planning : Ensure a high level of reliability through effective planning, scheduling, essential care, and condition monitoring.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting : Support teams in evaluating and troubleshooting problems, determining root causes, and implementing effective solutions.

Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications :

Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Industry Experience : At least 10 years of experience in kraft mill operations within the pulp and paper recovery area.

Leadership Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.

Technical Expertise : Proven experience with reliability and continuous improvement principles and techniques.
