Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Sales Support Specialist to assist customers with product selection, installation, calibration, and troubleshooting. This role provides technical expertise to support sales teams and drive customer satisfaction.
About the Role:
The Technical Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in assisting customers with product selection, installation, calibration, and troubleshooting. This role requires strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in electrical products and power control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in the selection, installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of products.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Travel to customer sites and trade shows to support sales teams and promote products.
- Conduct technical training and product presentations to customers and internal teams.
- Review technical documentation; read blueprints.
Qualifications:
Education:
- PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology.
- CONSIDERED: Associate's degree in Electronics with relevant experience.
Experience & Skills:
- At least one year of experience in technical sales support, or application engineering (manufacturing background preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in electrical products and power control systems.
- Customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support customers and attend industry events.
