What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President Investment Banking position at Course?
We are a fast growing middle market investment bank that focuses in the technology, information services and tech-enabled service sector. We are looking to hire a key VP level execution banker to lead sell-side M&A processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee junior bullpen in analyzing companies, industries, historical financial statements, and prospective financial statements
- Help manage the build-out of financial models and perform valuation analyses to support advice provided to clients
- Engage with clients, investment banks, private equity firms, law firms on live deals
- Assist in identifying appropriate investors and/or strategic and financial buyers
- Communicate regulatory, financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear and concise manner to assist and guide decision-makers in a corporate finance transaction
- Liaising with clients, their counterparties, and other advisers in support of a team during presentations and deal executions
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of Investment Banking experience at a reputable invesment bank
- Highly proficient in financial statement analysis and financial modeling
- Advanced valuation, mathematical and analytical skills coupled with strong attention to detail
- Ability to proactively manage multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner
- Capable of working independently but also as part of a dynamic team in a fast-moving environment
- Must have Series 79, 7, 63
