Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering legal documents to individuals involved in court cases, ensuring that all documents are served in accordance with legal requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Serve legal documents such as summons, complaints, subpoenas, and other court-related papers to individuals as directed by clients or attorneys.
- Maintain accurate records of all documents served, including dates, times, and locations of service. Court OPS is looking for an independent contractor to serve legal Court documents to individuals and companies throughout Iron County.
Requirements
Contractor must be 18 years of age or older with a clean background from crimes of moral turpitude, physical violence and any other felonies.
Contractor must have a newer smart phone that is able to process the serving app. Communication via Scan/Email is a must.
Contractor will need reliable transportation with a valid drivers license and current vehicle insurance.
Contractor must have availability to deliver on evenings, weekends or other times needed to accomplish service.
Court OPS is willing to work with the contractor towards getting their PI license to serve more types of process and possible other investigative work.
- Previous experience as a Process Server or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1.00 per hour
