We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and laundry facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean, fresh, and properly folded.
- Handle dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy items as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
