Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services, including dry cleaning and laundering items. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments.
- Handle dry cleaning processes for items requiring special care.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to maintain health standards.
- Assist with inventory management of linens and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or housekeeping environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Familiarity with laundry processes, including dry cleaning methods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
