The bartender will greet customers and interact with them while answering questions, recommending items, preparing and serving beverages and food while building a rapport with the guests
Deliver memorable service while maintaining high standard Marriott service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome, greet and make guests feel comfortable and valued for the duration of their visit
- Serve and mix beverages for guests
- Practice safe/sanitary food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area
- Verify age requirement by checking identification of guests prior to serving alcohol
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment along with clearing tables
- Prepare final bill and properly reconcile guest payment
- Keep accurate account of monies in the cash drawer along with preparing final cash drop
- Stock bar with proper supplies
- Ability to assess bar customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
Qualifications
- Applicants must be 18 years old
- Prefer previous bartending experience but will train the right person
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
