Position Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department across all JSK Hospitality properties. This individual will ensure a positive employee experience by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building and supporting high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
- Assist with employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management support.
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs in line with federal, state, and local laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data using Paycor, our Human Capital Management system.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs and development initiatives.
- Support benefits administration including open enrollment, changes, and employee questions.
- Promote and uphold JSK Hospitality's mission, values, and culture in all HR practices.
- Collaborate with department managers to support team development and retention strategies.
- Participate in audits, safety initiatives, and other compliance-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of HR generalist experience; hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with Paycor or similar HRIS systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
