POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing People Ops related duties on a professional level and works closely with Senior Management in supporting designated geographic regions. The HR Generalist will oversee the day-to-day operations of the People Ops department, including talent management, payroll, record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, the management of benefits, leaves, and most other HR related functions. The incumbent will also be responsible for creating, staying abreast of, as well as enforcing company policies compliance and practices. This role plays a critical part in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR operations run smoothly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure a seamless transition into the company.
- Serve as a point of contact for team members regarding HR policies, procedures, and concerns.
- Support conflict resolution efforts and foster a positive work environment.
- Assist in developing and implementing team member engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate benefits programs and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Assist team members with benefits enrollment, questions, and issue resolution.
- Manager/support payroll processing by ensuring accuracy in team member data and time tracking.
- Conducts all data entry into HRIS system and conduct routine audits to ensure the
- integrity of the data.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain team member records and HR documentation.
- Support the implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Manager/assist in coordinating performance review processes.
- Support training and development programs to enhance team member skills and growth.
- Contribute to various HR initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, wellness initiatives, and team member recognition programs.
- Support HR reporting and data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Promotes technology to increase productivity, decrease rework and eliminate manual effort.
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources related field with general understanding of employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience is also fully qualifying.
- At least three years’ experience in a talent management role
- At least three years’ experience in the entry, management, and submission of payroll functions
- Advanced understanding of HRIS systems, payroll solutions and processing, preferred.
- Intermediate to advance proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and demonstrate a high level of accuracy with attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on work assignments with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinking skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
- Ability to exercise extreme discretion, initiative, and good judgment.
- This is a remote position with the expectation of travel to meet the needs of the position, and onsite at least once every other week. Work is completed in a general office environment, sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The work environment is favorable with adequate lighting and temperature, and no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Must be able to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
