POSITION : ExecutiveHousekeeper
JOB SUMMARY

The ExecutiveHousekeeper oversees the cleanliness of our hotel establishment whileresponding to our guests' needs; ensures the safety and security of hotelrooms; and maintains inventory and controls costs. TheExecutive Housekeeper participates in the selection process andprovides training to the Housekeeping Department to promote "top-notch"experiences for our guests. The Executive Housekeeper is the perfectexample of exemplary performance for team members tofollow.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for preparing a monthly forecast for theHousekeeping Department with other departments to ensure no disruption to ourguests; plan work schedules and room assignments for teammembers; participate in the recruiting and selection process of newlyhired team members; responsible for performance planning and evaluation ofnewly hired team members; monitors team members performance to provideperformance appraisals; maintain personnel records to ensure accuracy.
Responsible for supervision and essential training of thenewly hired team members in all aspects of housekeeping including guestservices; ensure team members are familiar with duties and responsibilities, aswell as the overall expectations of the Housekeeping Department; ensure teammembers are familiar with company policies; responsible for conducting guestsatisfaction inspections of public areas, guest rooms, corridors, restrooms, aswell as laundry personnel to ensure proper functioning.
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget for theHousekeeping Department and manage expenses and budget; responsible forcleaning supply orders, linen par stockings, andchemicals; maintain inventory of supplies and ensure team membersfollow inventory / cost control procedures; implement and understand the hotel'skey control system.
Responsible for tracking lost and found goods and ensuringteam members are aware of the procedure; processing guest complaints, takingproper care / maintenance of equipment; conducting meetings with teammembers as needed; ensuring uniforms of team members are presentable and meetthe company expectations.
Reinforce and maintain high standards of safetyand cleanliness to ensure guest expectation is achieved; assist withemergency and security procedures when needed; promote good safetypractices within the hotel establishment of team members and guests; understandapplicable laws that apply to housekeeping supplies. and chemicals; monitor preventivemaintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel establishment.
Perform other tasks as necessary or required to meetor exceed guest satisfaction.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
High-school graduate or equivalent and a minimum of oneyear of executive hospitality experience (preferred).
Excellent customer service skills.
Bilingual communication skills (preferred).
Computer knowledge and / or experience (preferred).
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in the hospitality industry(preferred).
Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper(preferred).
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to follow directions and delegate in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Additional training (as required).
Must be flexible to work varied schedules.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to listen attentively.
Must have the physical ability to walk, bend, and standfor long periods.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must adhere to grooming and appearance standards inalignment with uniform.
